Acute poststreptococcal glomerulonephritis is generally known to be the most common cause
of acute nephritis in children and secondary to an immunologic mechanism. esp. activating complement system. And so there have been several reports on the change of serum complement levels in the course this disease.

Cleidocranial dysostosis is rare congenital defect of bony skeleton, esp. membranous bone: characterized by hypoplasia of clavicles and delayed ossification of cranium and pelvis and concomitant anomaly, e.g. scoliosis, coxa vara, etc. A few cases has been reported in this country. Authors report a case of cleidocranial dysostosis in 9 years old girl with brief review of literature.
